Aidan Loy has over 20 years as a solicitor specialising in Employment Law, for both Applicants and Respondents. His experience has mostly been in the City, but also in industry and internationally. In all that time it has been borne out over and over again that the key to success is communication with the client. His job is to define the problem – which may not always be as it appears – and then similarly the solution which, again may not be obvious. This philosophy, coupled with excellent client service, has helped him achieve a great deal of success on behalf of others.
As well as being a partner in City firms (Rosling King, Hill Dickinson and Stephenson Harwood), he has also run his own practice and worked in industry, for an international airline and an international freight railway company, so he understands commercial reality. He has also worked extensively in finance, banking and shipping and in particular with discrimination and whistleblowing cases. Aidan also has excellent links with the EU Commission.
He has experience throughout this entire period of advocacy in the Employment Tribunal and the Employment Appeal Tribunal and has run highly complex cases in the High Court.
Aidan’s job, and that of the Firm, is to negotiate a solution to any problem which, for the client, minimises stress, maximises the outcome, and leaves them with a memory of excellent service.
