Fiona is dual qualified as a barrister and is now practising as a solicitor. She is an accredited Civil and Commercial mediator, specialising in Company Commercial, Employment and Property law.
Fiona has acted for a wide range of clients including start up buyers to High Net Worth individuals, investors and lenders. Fiona is experienced in a wide range of transactions including sales, purchases, mortgages, bridge lending, business leases, assignments of existing leases, sales of shops, warehouses and mixed-use properties. She is also experienced in advising on general commercial property transactions such as applications to grant/issue consent, licences to assign and licences to carry out alterations. Fiona’s experience with residential property matters is extensive, particularly in dealing with first time buyers.
Fiona’s experience in Company Commercial matters include advising clients on initial incorporation of the company, shareholder agreements and commercial arrangements with third parties. She provides commercially focused, industry-specific advice to employers, working with HR professionals to proactively minimise the risk of litigation.
As a member of the Employment Lawyers Association, Fiona acted for a variety of businesses, charities, educational establishments, and individuals over the years dealing with both employment disputes, employment policies and contract drafting. Following the Covid-19 pandemic, Fiona has been in demand advising both employees and employers on the impact of the Coronavirus and the changes in Employment law in relation thereto.

In her spare time Fiona enjoys walking her dogs, weekends away exploring natural history and ancient buildings particularly in the South Downs.
