Christmas cheer?

Many of us are beginning to think of Christmas, all those presents to buy, the food to organise and the excitement of the day.  As a Family Lawyer, I know from experience that not everyone will be looking forward to Christmas as this is the time a lot of couples think about ending their relationship.

Many agree to stay together for the sake of their children over the Christmas period then want a fresh start in the New Year, but for some there is no such discussion and it comes as a terrible shock.  Whichever way it happens, it is still a difficult and painful time with the added insecurity of your financial future.

If you are in that position, or have a friend who is in that position, the best thing to do is to get some sound legal advice from an experienced solicitor at the earliest possible time.  This will not only give you some support to steer you through the next few troubling months, you will get sound advice about your financial entitlement and what to do to protect your interests.  I can guide you through the process and because I do not work the traditional Monday to Friday 9 – 5, I can be there to answer your queries and can offer you a service when you need it.

Whilst it can be difficult to think about these things at Christmas, act now to secure your future!
